FYF - AUCKLAND

Find Your Fierce has been a dream of mine for a very long time, I have been creating and hosting events since I was a young 19 year old living in Wellington, New Zealand. Many of us have ideas but it’s having the courage to bring those ideas to life, as I’ve said before - I’M JUST A GIRL WHO DECIDED TO GO FOR IT!

As a born and raised kiwi gal, it was important for me to bring Find Your Fierce to the motherland, and spread the movement back home. I kicked off the first NZ event in Auckland the week before Christmas (I know, crazy right) I am completely bonkers for trying to do this event right before Christmas but hey, it all worked out in the end.

I want to give a huge thank you to Mission Bay Pavilion for being the official venue sponsor, the event was held in their gorgeous Stonehouse, which was able to accomodate 60 women comfortably.

During the first break of the event, I remember walking to the bathroom and there were a couple of girls chatting and one of them said to me “Wow, does it always get this deep?” I said “yes it does, I mean actually meet people in life, we never introduce ourselves and say hey, this is my story, this is the hard stuff I’ve had to go through in my life and so forth” so I think they were quite blown away by what the event actually entails.

That’s the best thing, when people have no expectation of Find Your Fierce and they leave with all kinds of feels. There were women in that room who had known each other for many years and no idea about some of the hardships their friends had gone through.

That’s what I love most, the raw and unedited conversations, the flow of openness because that’s when people genuinely connect the most, when they’re vulnerable, and I AM HERE FOR IT!

I would like to say a HUGE THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart to these four amazing women on the FIERCE FEMME PANEL who shared their story;
